About: PS3 Game Updates

This awarding downloads PS3 and PSP/PSVita game updates and patches.

Features

Back up concurrent queued downloads. new feature!

The title id field accepts many formats of title id (eg: title id with/without dash, content id, URL of pkgs, etc).

Search updates by name of the game.

The championship id field also accepts the path of GAMES or the IP of the PS3 (to scan multiple games).

Show game patches 3.56+ in a dissimilar color (pinkish).

Car-detects game patches already downloaded (search in PS3_UPDATE, PS3_EXTRAS, and in the default download path) and bear witness them in gray.

Asks for confirmation to download patches 3.56 or higher. Required firmware version is appended to the proper noun of the file.

Testify game comprehend and game clarification even if the game does not have updates.

Auto-prepare downloaded PKGs that required firmware 3.60

Changelogs

v3.1:

Added support for updates of PKG files. Added detection of game version on ISO and PKG.

v3.0.7:

Added browse for updates of PS3 ISOs, added scan of GAMES + GAMEZ + PS3ISO folders if a path like 10:\ is entered.

That link is non from my mediafire business relationship... maybe it's blocked due some AV tag information technology as 'malicious' (false positive)

Aye, I know... mediafire besides blocked some of my files that I hosted there in the past. e.one thousand BSD was blocked due "copyright" reason
Bad news, I'm hosting there a lot of homebrew stuff that can look suspicious for them.

Aldo does your tool has a fallback pick when Sony pulls down their servers (in case of PS3 stop of life) then that the updates are still stored somewhere? A mirror of all the updates?
No...merely it can exist added if someone makes a centralized mirror for the thousands of gigabytes needed for the update files.
Peradventure y'all're willing to pay the thousands of dollars monthly needed to provide this service when the PS3 life cycle ends

The reason why I posted here start is because:
1) I plant this thread through Google and was drastic for help
ii) I didn't know about that other thread
Therefore, I humbly request a moderator to delete my comment in this thread since it seems I can't.
Once more, my apologies for reviving an former thread. I'1000 still new to this whole forum thing.

Anyway, I wrote a reply to yours in that other thread. Information technology is currently awaiting moderator approval.

Install the Visual Basic v Runtime DLLs . Otherwise you lot will receive an error related to MSVBVM50.DLL.

Not your effect, but another frequent error is solved turning off DEP (Data Execution Prevention) for the executable.

i think for some game like gta5 you lot demand to install all update, depending on some game
All the packages demand to be installed in order from older to newer. If you install them out of order the game may non work or have unexpected results./

@aldostools First off I merely want to say thank you for property down the ps3 scene all these years! You truly are 1 of the meridian contributors to the scene. I did just want ask, since I know anybody is kind of in a frenzy right now with pending server shutdowns (including myself), do you past chance have an update planned for the Game Updater to bring it to four.87 CFW or fifty-fifty just permit for it to use standard updates? trying to become my ducks in a row simply to be sure I can preserve my collection going forward
